Favoritas De Mis Padres is the debut album from San Antonio native Conjunto accordionist Brenda Martinez. The album is 10 tracks of traditional Texas Conjunto music, including polkas, a huapango and a reimagined bolero. The selections are drawn from the catalogs of Conjunto greats like Ruben Naranjo, Flaco Jimenez, Ruben Vela, and Gilberto Perez, and the last track, "La Galleta (Cookie Polka)" is an original polka composed by Martinez herself.
